Share a page or file from another app into LinkVault

How sharing into LinkVault works (Stand: 2026-09)

LinkVault appears in the system share sheet after you install the app. Safari and Files are usually one tap. Some apps open their own first menu — you scroll to More, then search again.

Three steps that always apply

1. In the other app, open Share.
2. If LinkVault is missing, tap More (the gray tile with three dots) and scroll the full list.
3. Select LinkVault. Some apps require More more than once.

Safari (iPhone and iPad)

Tap Share (square with arrow up) in the toolbar, then LinkVault. First time: tap More, find LinkVault, optionally Edit to pin it.

Files

Select a file, tap Share, then LinkVault. Same More path if it is not in the first row.

Photos

Open the photo or video, tap Share, then LinkVault.

TikTok

Tap Share on the video, scroll to More. A second sheet opens — scroll again and tap More if needed, then choose LinkVault. This extra hop is TikTok plus iOS, not something LinkVault can skip.

Instagram

Share from a post or story using the system sheet (not only Instagram’s in-app send). Then More if LinkVault is hidden, then LinkVault.

Stand: 2026-09. LinkVault does not replace the system share sheet; it registers as a share target after install.
