Frequently asked questions

Is LinkVault Pro free?
Yes — LinkVault Pro is free to download and use. The core features, including offline storage, AI processing, and multi-device sync, are available at no cost. Future premium tiers may offer additional storage or features.
Does it work offline?
Completely. Your links are stored locally in SQLite on your device. You can read, search, and organize your library without any internet connection. Sync happens in the background when you reconnect.
How does multi-device sync work?
LinkVault Pro uses differential sync — only the changes since your last sync are transferred. This keeps sync fast and battery-friendly. All devices sharing the same account stay automatically in sync.
What does AI processing do with my links?
When you save a link, our AI pipeline extracts the page content, generates a summary, suggests tags and a category, and formats the text for readability. For videos and PDFs it extracts transcripts and text. This all happens server-side; your processed content is then synced back to your device.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes. Cloud sync uses Supabase with row-level security — only your authenticated account can access your links. We do not sell your data, run advertising, or share your links with third parties. You can delete your entire account and all cloud data at any time from the app settings.
Which platforms are supported?
iOS, Android, a full web app, and browser extensions for Chrome and Edge. All share the same account and library.

Release notes

Version 1.2.508

LinkVault Pro 1.1.218 brings meaningful improvements under the hood — making your library faster, smarter, and more reliable across every platform.

Syncing your link library is now noticeably faster. Background sync has been tuned for less redundant work: the app intelligently skips fetches it has already completed, coordinates polling intervals across mobile and extension, and caches status lookups so you're never waiting unnecessarily. Your library stays up-to-date with less battery and bandwidth impact.

Signing in to the LinkVault Pro web app now works reliably every time. We migrated to a cleaner authentication approach — the same secure flow already used by the browser extension — which eliminates the login failures some users experienced when returning to the web app.

Link processing is tracked end-to-end with detailed telemetry, giving administrators precise insight into AI step performance, cache hit rates, and service health. Processing logs are automatically cleaned up, keeping the service lean.
