Yes — download free and use offline forever (capture, organize, search on device). Cloud sync and AI use a free allowance: if we already processed that article, you get the enrichment without using your allowance; new processing counts toward your monthly free AI. Plus and Team raise limits and unlock import and reprocess. No ads. We don't sell what you save.
Completely. Your links and files are stored locally in SQLite on your device. You can read, search, and organize your library without any internet connection. Sync happens in the background when you reconnect.
LinkVault Pro uses differential sync — only the changes since your last sync are transferred. This keeps sync fast and battery-friendly. All devices sharing the same account stay automatically in sync.
When you save a link, our AI pipeline extracts the page content, generates a summary, suggests tags and a category, and formats the text for readability. For videos and PDFs it extracts transcripts and text. Files aren't sent to AI unless you ask. Processed content syncs back to your device.
