After you install the app, LinkVault appears in the share menu of your phone or tablet. Pick your device below. Some apps open their own menu first: then tap More and look again.
Tap Share (square with arrow up) in the toolbar, then LinkVault. First time: tap More, find LinkVault, optionally Edit to pin it.
Select a file, tap Share, then LinkVault. Same More path if it is not in the first row.
Open the photo or video, tap Share, then LinkVault.
Tap Share under the video, then More, then LinkVault. The video link and its title are saved.
Tap Share on the video, scroll to More. A second sheet opens — scroll again and tap More if needed, then choose LinkVault. This extra hop is TikTok plus iOS, not something LinkVault can skip.
Share from a post or story using the system sheet (not only Instagram’s in-app send). Then More if LinkVault is hidden, then LinkVault.
Open the menu (three dots), tap Share, then LinkVault. If it is not in the first row, tap See all or More and pick LinkVault.
Open the photo, screenshot or PDF, tap Share, then LinkVault. New files are private by default.
Tap Share in the app. If the app shows its own menu first, tap More or Other apps, then LinkVault.
Click Share in the toolbar and pick LinkVault. On the Mac, the share menu takes links, web pages and text.
Files do not go through the Mac share menu. Drop them into the web app, or into the side panel of the Chrome or Edge extension.
On Windows, save pages with the LinkVault extension for Chrome or Edge, or paste the link in the LinkVault app.
Drop files into the side panel of the extension or into the web app.
Click the LinkVault button in the toolbar. The page lands in your library with its title.
Open the side panel and drop the file.
Star a link. By default it shows up in a LinkVault folder on the bookmarks bar.
